This is as rare a beauty as it gets! I've had these incredibly rare collectible gemstones for over a decade now and just could not bring myself to part with them and would pull them out every now and then to enjoy their timeless beauty. Alas, it's time for new home for someone else to enjoy.  Please note, these are absolutely the genuine article and not quartz that is treated to appear like garnet, a true gem collectors find.
 
These fine Pyrope beauties are faceted flat pears to allow the passage of light. Normally garnet at a substantial size loses its appeal being heavily included, opaque and the appearance of being black. These on the contrary have high luster, near eye clean, stunning burgundy in color and wonderfully translucent, at a jaw dropping size of 21mm x 13mm and a carat weight of 24.
 
I've paired these collectible gems with satin finish, solid 18k gold drop shape to accentuate the gemstones and dangle beneath earwires of also solid 18k at an overall length of 2".
